Vinesh Kumar Sivan is a highly experienced Senior Reliability Engineer with over 13 years of experience in the technology industry. Currently working at Twitter, he is responsible for ensuring maximum uptime for the infrastructure hosted in multiple data centers and cloud environments such as Amazon and Softlayer. Vinesh has a strong background in managing load balancers (F5) and databases, configuring Nagios with NRPE for better application monitoring, managing incident and change management processes, and troubleshooting and resolving network, server, and application issues. Prior to joining Twitter, Vinesh worked at 24/7.ai as an Assistant Manager, where he developed customer service-based software that focused on big data, predictive analytics, and real-time decisioning. He integrated different channels of communication such as web chat and mobile Interactive voice response and marketed Software as a Service in its contact center operations for customers of large telecom, financial services, retail, technology, and travel companies. Vinesh holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Software Engineering from JNTU, which he completed in 2008. He has a diverse technical skill set that includes SRE, AI, big data, mobile, web, and infrastructure. He is experienced in automating data backup and log collection, managing DNS and troubleshooting, and automating routine operational tasks.
